Having nearly already hit a total of 400,000 fans in the games so far, Inter are reaching new heights of success in ticket sales with an expected 50,000 set to watch Sunday’s game versus Atalanta. Currently Inter are on 363, 384 and with the estimate of another 50,000 on Sunday, that figure should reach roughly 413,000. Tuttosport stress, “Inter will easily surpass one million by the end of the season at this rate. The calendar still has some very big games to come, and with such a big home appeal, each one will surely attract more than 50,000 spectators” – as it reads.
Inter-Lazio, for example will played on the 30th of December at 18:00, which we can expect to be a full stadium, then Inter-Roma on January 21st at 20:45. Not to mention the long awaited Inter-Napoli and Inter-Juve with a predictable attendance of 70,000 or more. However the match against Torino proves that even on a Sunday afternoon, Inter are still able to have attendances of 70,000: with Chievo and Udinese at 15:00, even though it’ll be played in the winter, it should not discourage the loyal and passionate Nerazzurri fans from going in masses to the Meazza.
Furthermore, Inter will also be playing in the Italian Cup on December 12th, which could result in a third Milan derby, assuming both Inter and Milan progress on the 27th. Making for a mega Boxing Day fixture.
