Atalanta’s Riccardo Orsolini has spoken ahead of his sides visit to San Siro this coming Sunday where they will take on Inter.

The attacker spoke briefly after scoring in Italy U21’s friendly victory over their Russian counterparts and shared his ambitions for the game which is to kick off at 20:45 on Sunday night.

“I hope [Gian Piero] Gasperini puts me in [the team for the game with Inter]” he told reporters post match.

The Juventus owned starlet came in to links with Inter prior to his switch to the Bianconeri this summer. The 20-year-old has made six appearances for the Bergamo club in all competitions but has only appeared as a substitute. Despite limited minutes, Orsolini has still managed to find the back of the net albeit just once. He is on loan at Atalanta for two seasons with Juventus management hoping more game time will help his progression, something he would not have been afforded at the Allianz Stadium.
