Inter backup goalkeeper Daniele Padelli was the latest player to feature on Inter TV’s new show Drive.

Padelli appeared on the second episode of the show which sees a presenter enjoy a car ride with a player while interviewing them.

The shot stopper first spoke on Milan Skriniar, who joined the club in the summer just like he did.

“He’s very strong and good. He doesn’t get taken over by emotion, he’s a really excellent player. An important signing.”

He then discussed his history as an Interista.

“I’ve always been an Interista, I even had a picture of Pagliuca when I was small. To become the Inter goalkeeper was always my dream. I want to emulate him, become like him, looking to do what he did for Inter.”

Padelli recently became a father and spoke on what fatherhood has been like for him.

“It was one of the best days of my life and I’ll never forget it. It’s changing my life, it’s making my life better. To wake up with your son by your side makes you smile and it’s something wonderful.”

Padelli then shared his thoughts when it comes down to him facing a penalty.

“There aren’t a lot of thoughts, you try to analyse the moment, the run-up and how the attacker is set to shoot. The goals are certainly watched and analysed before. A goalkeeper has a lot to gain from penalties, if you’re able to save it you’re doing something important.”

He concluded by speaking on his new home, the San Siro.

“San Siro is one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world. To play there as an opponent is very difficult. Unfortunately, I’ve still not had the honour of playing there as an Inter player but I experienced the derby and other matches from the inside and I had indescribable feelings, it’s a stadium which transmits a lot, it gives you energy. It’s an excellent stadium.”
