It seems that there is not only Inter in the race to sign Fiorentina’s star Federico Chiesa, an already talented winger with huge potential. Following the big transfer news from yesterday, as Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Inter were planning on bidding 50 million euros for the Italian youngster during the summer window, today the Republic reveals that over the past few hours, the boys father (Enrico Chiesa, a former Viola star), has met with representatives of Paris Saint Germain in Florence. Despite all of these rumours, the negotiations for a contract renewal with the Viola are still progressing and once his signature is confirmed, it will make him the highest paid player at the club with a wage increase from 400,000 euros per season to two million.

Federico is versatile enough to play on either side of the wings, meaning one of Perisic or Candreva would have their replacement, of the two we can assume he would replace Perisic at some point with Yann Karamoh already bought for the right.
