Speaking to L’Eco di Bergamo, former Atalanta and Inter player, Domenico Morfeo spoke about tonights game at the San Siro between his two former teams. Morfeo, a former product of the excellent Atalanta youth system, spoke about the difference in mentality  to when he used to play and now.

“In my day, when we used to go to play against Milan or Inter at the San Siro, we would always try not to concede. Otherwise we would be on the receiving end of a heavy beating. This Atalanta team however has a different mentality and knows how to cause problems for their opponents, whoever they are.”

The former Parma midfielder went on to speak about tonights game where he believes his former team could cause an upset and come away with all the points: “I don’t believe that Inter are as organised as Atalanta, I think Gasperini’s side could come away from this game with points in hand. I hope Atalanta can go as high up as possible. Not having the weight of expectation on them makes it easier for them to go about their work. This also applies to their progress in Europe also, who knows how far this team can go? When you have a group of young players as they do, and you have to work hard for everything and you are not forced to achieve an objective then you can achieve anything you want. This Atalanta team has a clear head and this is a point in their favour.”
