Inter’s Italian international midfielder Roberto Gagliardini took to his official Twitter account to share his thoughts on what has been an eventful week to say the least.

The former Atalanta player was part of the Italy set up that failed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup next summer in Russia before coming back to Inter to face his former paymasters from Bergamo where he gave a solid performance in yesterday’s 2-0 win in the Serie A at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district following a Mauro Icardi brace.

“It has been a very particular week. Full of disappointment, tension and then wait to play against the team where I grew up and then happiness yesterday. Everything in only 6 days. We are Italy and we have to hurry up and pick our heads back up. We are Inter, we have already picked our heads up” Gagliardini tweeted today.
