Not contradicting the reports from Spain, Turin based news outlet Tuttosport are convinced that Spanish giants Real Madrid are ready to do everything in their power to bring Inter captain Mauro Icardi to the Santiago Bernabéu next summer.

The Argentine striker currently has a release clause of €110m which is only valid to clubs outwith Italy, so it will totally depend on Icardi himself if an offer equal to that amount or higher arrives from Los Blancos.

The 24-year-old Argentine has netted 13 goals in as many games for the Nerazzurri this season in Serie A and has been crucial to Inter finding themselves in second place undefeated.

Despite the transfer rumours, Inter management are not worried and feel that a new contract is more likely than the Argentine international striker leaving the club. Icardi only penned his current contract last year and is under contract with the club through to 2021.
