Inter manager Luciano Spalletti will take a decision today or Saturday as to whether or not Matias Vecino will be in the squad for Sunday’s home fixture to Chievo Verona Premium Sport detail.

The Uruguayan was forced off the field in Inter’s last game, a 3-1 victory over Cagliari, with an injury and told fans he was feeling fine as he attended a signing event at the Inter Store in the Milan city centre on Thursday.

He began separate training on Thursday also which largely consisted of running on the training pitches following a session in the gym.

The 26-year-old arrived at San Siro in the summer in a €24 million deal from Fiorentina and was quick to silence those who doubted his price-tag. He has featured in each of Inter’s 14 league games so far this season and started 12 of them and managed to spark up a solid partnership with Roberto Gagliardini in the midfield.
