Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia stopped by Inter TV to gve an interviews after today’s impressive 5-0 win at home against Chievo Verona which meant that the Nerazzurri are top of the Serie A.

Ranocchia began my analyzing his own performance stating that “I tried to get the ball into the net several times, unfortunately I did not score, otherwise I would have taken the ball home with me. However, the most important thing is that we got the win and are sole leaders of the Serie A.”

The former Hull City defender then spoke about the atmosphere at the San Siro stating that: “the fans was really amazing today, for me it was like playing football with my friends. I give everything I have as soon as I put on this jersey and if we continue like this we can achieve a lot of things. Now it is time for Juventus, a game that means three points if we win, like the one today. We will try to be as prepared as possible but in order to reach our goals we have to win games like that. In the meantime we will continue on this path where we are doing well.”

In conclusion Ranocchia spoke about this crop of Inter players saying that: “I have not seen a more united group like this one since I arrived at Inter. Spalletti is correct when he says that every player in the squad is a starting player, you can not win this league with only 11 starting players and every one of us is showing that we give everything that we have in order to be the champions come May.”
