According to Tuttosport, Jakub Jankto has become the goal for Inter to strengthen the midfield for next season. Udinese will not want to sell in January due to his form and their struggles, but a deal could still be negotiated for with the summer in mind. The fact that Udinese are not doing well in the standings at the moment is seen as a positive for Ausilio to help negotiate with the player himself.

Ausilio has already made contact with Beppe Riso, the intermediary in the Gagliardini deal, but also for Jankto and Bryan Cristante, another player who has been followed with enthusiasm by the Nerazzurri since 2007. The aim of Ausilio is to get a step ahead of the competition for Jankto by making some form of pact with Udinese for the summer. There is also Nicolo Barella, although Cagliari have set the price too high for Inter to consider talking about.
