After the tough 0-0 draw against Juventus in the Serie A, away at Allianz Stadium, Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic gave his opinions on tonight’s game to Premium Sport:

Handanovic was asked about the reason Inter don’t concede so much stating that “the team defends as a team, all together. We work a lot with fine tuning our defense. That is thanks to Spalletti and his staff. In Italy, whoever has the best defense wins the title and this is an important thing. We always have to go for the win, sometimes it is not that easy but I think that tonight we could have done better.”

The former Udinese and Slovenian international then continued: “this year I play the ball a lot more with my feet, this is what Spalletti wanted from me. Then of course, it is a lot more easier when you have players that actually want the ball and show that to me. Not every coach has actually wanted me to play more balls with my feet, for me it is a thing that improves when you practice it. Spalletti is a hammer during practices and has taught us to see a training session as a real game. We have grown a lot but we still have to grow, we still have not reache our maximum.”

In conclusion Handanovic was asked about which goalkeepers in the Serie A he thinks are better than him replying: “I only look at me and my performance, I am more worried about me than the other goalkeepers.”
