Bologna’s Simone Verdi spoke on Sky Sport show Partita della Stella on his future amid links with Inter. The 25-year-old’s form for the Rossoblu has sparked an interest from the Nerazzurri who have identified him as a possible reinforcement for their attack.

“In January, I will definitely not move from Bologna, I have said it several times and I repeat now that I want to stay until the end of the season. Having said that it does not mean that I wont decide to spend yet another season at Bologna.”

Verdi also debuted for the Azzurri this year and spoke briefly on the national team.

“It is nice to be taken into consideration for the national team, but I prefer to do my talking on the field.”

He concluded by listing the coaches who have had a profound impact on his development during his career.

“I have had many coaches who have affected my career, I first I think of is Ventura, then there is Castori, Sarri and finally Donadoni, all of them were very important for my growth.”
