Inter flop Gabigol, who is currently out on loan at Portuguese club Benfica, has attracted the interest of Brazilian club São Paulo. According to UOL Esporte, the Brazilian club are part of the list of suitors for the young Brazilian striker who has found himself increasingly on the margins at Benfica due to poor behaviour and generally not impressing. The request would come directly from São Paulo coach Dorival Junior, who knows Gabigol well having coached him at Santos, where he started his career and was the object of desire of many European clubs before Inter secured his signature. However, for this move to materialise Inter must authorize a new loan: only then will São Paulo begin negotiations for his arrival. In the meantime, the managers have kept constant contacts with the entourage of the player. One of stumbling blocks with the deal will be the strikers hefty wages. The Paulista club hopes that Inter will help them, by paying a substantial portion of his salary.
