Transfer market expert Niccolo Ceccarini spoke on Inter and what they will and will not be doing when the January transfer window comes round in little over two weeks time.

“The Nerazzurri will not invest in January unless they are able to sell Joao Mario, whose is valued at at least €30 million. Alessandro Bastoni can arrive in January; the agreement with Atalanta was for a two-year loan, but relations are excellent between the clubs. As for Ramires, the clubs are in talks, but the most probable hypothesis is he will remain [in China with Jiangsu Suning].”

Joao Mario has been linked with swap moves to both Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United while Bastoni will be brought back early to provide defensive cover for Inter, who have had to deal with having just three first team centre backs for almost the entire season. Ramires on the other hand has continually been linked due to the fact his club and Inter share the same owners, the Suning group.
