Inter’s Sporting Director Piero Ausilio gave his traditional pre-match interview to Premium Sport just moments before kick-off against Udinese at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.

Ausilio was asked how active Inter will be when the transfer window opens in January to which he replied that: “the transfer window in January is very complicated. Especially for us who already have a strong team and have gone top of the league with these players we have here. It is not a discussion of January or December. It is difficult to find players on the transfer market that are better than the ones we have. We will see what happens, we are attentive to everything but we have a lot of conviction and we believe a lot in this team.

Ausilio was then asked about the status of Joao Cancelo stating that: “there is worry for the World Cup but he has not come here and asked for anything. I am convinced that he will be able to start for Inter calmly. If he want to talk to us we are open to compare. He is doing well and we cannot forget that he has recovered from an injury period of 45 days.”
