Some 24 hours after Udinese’s surprise win at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium, Udinese coach Massimo Oddo was a live guest of ‘Tutti convocati’ which is aired on Radio24. The former Milan player had difficult start to his managerial career after leading Pescara to relegation last season, however he has made a strong start at Udine since replacing Delneri in November.

Oddo began by saying that: “The change of mentality is normal when there is a change of coach at least immediately, then we have to find a way to keep this mentality. There was a tactical change with the 3 defender formation, then we played with courage, which helped a lot. Even if Inter did not play well, my team also had merits, especially in the second half, even last year I proved that I am not a prisoner to any specific formation, it’s not important to me. Udinese showed they have quality players, maybe with less physical skills, we had the chance to play well and we showed it.”
