Inter drew 0-0 at home to Lazio in their last fixture of 2017 after another poor performance from the Nerazzurri in attack, leaves them without a win  in 6 games games now and only one goal scored.

Someone who always seems to get most of the slack from the fans is the Inter winger Antonio Candreva. Today was no different. The former Lazio midfielder was at the centre of a mid game incident with a fan at the San Siro. In the 15th minute of the game a ball was  played through for Candreva to run on to which he decided to leave run out & not make an attempt to keep the ball in. He continued his run into the advertising boards & was seen on camera looking into the crowd and saying something to a supporter. It would seem that he said “Li mortacci tua, li mortacci” The incident was picked up by the Sky Italia cameras & was clear to see. In Roman dialect this is used as a harsh put down which basically reads “f**k you & your dead family.”

Not a nice gesture from the Italian international who has undoubtedly been feeling the pressure of late as Inter struggle to find their feet after a promising start to the season. Nonetheless it’s an incident that leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.
