“90 minutes remain of 2017 and after new year’s eve, Fiorentina player Milan Badelj only has six months left on his contract with the Tuscan side. Starting on Monday, the Croatian midfielder is allowed to contact other clubs (without any authorization of Fiorentina), in order to sign a preliminar contract.” This according to Corriere dello Sport who reminds us that Milan Badelj has yet to give Fiorentina an answer regarding the renewal of his contract that expires 2018. This means that at this point everything indicates that the Croatian player will leave Fiorentina in June at the cost of zero €.  In line for his signature are a number of big clubs: “AC Milan is there, a club that was in contact with Badelj’s former agent Dejan Joksimovic, Inter is there but also Di Francesco’s Roma is interested (but does not want to speak about the mercato now) and finally there is Pochettino’s Tottenham. But a farewell in January is out of the question, this is a summer transfer.”
