Corriere dello Sport predicts Inter’s mercato in January like this: “Alessandro Bastoni will immediately become an Inter player with Ramires as the first alternative for reinforcing the midfield. Probably at the end of the transfer window one of Deulofeu and Mkhitaryan will come. Two players with different characteristics but both very appreciated by Inter coach Luciano Spalletti.”

Bastoni, born 1999, was aquired by Inter last summer and have a loan deal contract with Atalanta until June 2019. But Inter’s defensive emergencies together with the fact that the youngster has gotten very little playing time will mean that the loan deal will be shortened by 18 months.

Ramires should be the second deal for Inter bringing the Brazilian from Jiangsu Suning in Nanjing to Appiano Gentile. The player himself is, together with his agent, currently putting pressure on the club in order for them to let him go. On the Inter side managers and coaches all agree on his name. What is left is the ok from Suning who does not want to weaken the team and also wants his investment to pay off or at least give him his money back.

Then we have what Inter is dreaming of, and that is a last minute deal that would bring a world class player to Spalletti. There are talks from Manchester about a switch between Joao Mario and Mkhitaryan, something United coach José Mourinho is not to keen on with current situation of Lukaku and Ibrahimovic. Inter is offering a two-way loan deal, something that they also has offered to Barcelona for Deulofeu. For Pastore things seem to have slowed down since PSG wants a permanent sale, something that is impossible for Inter at the moment.
