Luciano Spalletti and his technical staff at Inter have a very clear understand of much longer Joao Miranda and Danilo D’Ambrosio will be unavailable for, following the injuries they both suffered during Sassuolo-Inter.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport reports today, the return of the greatly improved Fullback, D’Amrbosio will be towards the end of January. While Danilo has had a lot of personal success with Inter in his development, even gaining access to the Italian national team, fans can be calm about his loss with Joao Cancelo performing well in his place and Santon able to seamlessly switch flanks if need be. It will be interesting to see how Spalletti deals with him once he returns, as long as Cancelo continues to improve.

On the other hand, Inter’s highly experienced Brazilian, Miranda could make his return for Inter-Roma on the 21st of January. While Andrea Ranocchia has been surprisingly impressive in the few games he’s played, Miranda offers far more with his abilities and will no doubt fit straight back into the team, during what will be one of Inter’s biggest games of the remaining season, against a direct competitor will Champions League qualification.
