Inter’s Italian central defender, Andrea Ranocchia, was interviewed by the club’s official TV Channel, Inter TV as the Nerazzurri arrived at the Stadio Artemio Franchi to prepare for tonight’s Serie A fixture away against Fiorentina.

The former Genoa defender began by explaining why tonight’s match will be different to the reverse fixture at the San Siro which kicked off the Serie A season for both teams: “Fiorentina have changed a lot. We have prepared well for this match but it will be difficult and complicated. We need to take on the match in the best way possible and return to winning three points. Up front Fiorentina have quick and technical players but we defended really well against Lazio and we need to do so also tonight, we need to do so as a team like our last fixture and then try to win.”

In conclusion Ranocchia was asked about the injury he picked up against Lazio saying that: “it is ok, I am ready to get going.”
