Former Inter midfielder Evaristo Becalossi spoke on what could happen for Inter this mercato in an interview with SportItalia.

“Inter will not spend any money in January, therefore they will not take sign anyone unless it is on loan,” he started out.

The 61-year-old then spoke on the current vision of this Inter.

“I heard what Steven Zhang had to say at the Nerazzurri Christmas party and he impressed me with his planning, but it is certainly a different vision from the past.”

Beccalossi, who spent six years with the Nerazzurri in the late 1970s and early 1980s, then concluded the interview by speaking on former Inter manager Walter Mazzarri, who succeeded former Inter player Sinisa Mihajlovic on the Torino bench.

“Mazzarri now has a great opportunity to re-launch himself in Turin. In Milan, when he was on the Inter bench, he had many difficulties.”

Mazzarri spent little over a year on the Inter bench but was sacked in November 2014 with the Nerazzurri well off the Champions League positions.
