Former Barcelona player Guillermo Amor who is nowadays employed by the Catalan giants as a manager of institutional sporting relations was interviewed by BeIN Sports regarding the future of winger Gerard Deulofeu who is heavily linked with a move to Inter in this transfer window.

When asked about the rumours surrounding the former Everton and AC Milan winger Amor replied that: “There are many players in our team, some are part of our plans and others are not. For the moment Deulofeu is amongst these and needs to wait for his chance. In order for us to understand his future better we need to wait a few days to see what happens.”

Gerard Deulofeu came up through the ranks at FC Barcelona and has featured 22 times across all competitions for the club getting on the scoresheet twice. The 23-year old has in the past few years been loaned out to Sevilla and Everton without much success but made a name for himself during the second part of last season’s Serie A which he spent at AC Milan scoring 4 goals in 18 matches prompting the Catalan giants to exercise their buy-back clause ahead of this season.
