According to reports coming out of Turkey, Inter have made an enquiry about the availability of Galatasaray defender Maicon.
Cimbom report that Galatasaray told the Nerazzurri that the 29-year-old centre back has a €20 million price tag. Maicon is understood to be content at the Istanbul club for now but may still consider an offer from Inter if one were to arrive on the table – although with Inter having Financial Fair Play problems, it is difficult to see a transfer happening this transfer window.
Maicon has been near ever present in Fatih Terim’s team this season making no less than 19 appearances in all competitions. Despite being a defender, he has managed to score on five occasions including a last minute free kick winner against Goztepe two weeks ago.
The Brazilian also has experience in European football with Portuguese side FC Porto and is under contract at the Türk Telekom Arena through to 2021.
