Santos refuse to give up on the idea of bringing Gabriel Barbosa back to the club despite multiple failed attempts to land him already.

The 21-year-old has ultimately failed to live up to expectations at Inter and on loan at Benfica and Lance! report that Santos representative Gustavo Vieira hopes to find an agreement with Inter over a transfer in another meeting.

Inter would ultimately prefer to send Gabigol back out on loan somewhere in Europe and do not consider a return to Brazil for Gabigol because the finances that the Brazilian club can offer are not deemed satisfactory. Santos are understood to have asked Inter for a free loan of their former starlet where they would pay 30% of the players salary among other proposals.

The Brazilian has made just a handful of appearances this season while with the Portuguese club and has only made one appearance since the start of November, which in itself was only a 16 minute cameo.

If we gonna sell Eder, then a solution for us is to keep Gabriel as a backup striker to Icardi, and test his worth for the last time, because until now he has no promising future, so selling the kid is far much profitable now than later, plus Benfica is a competitive club they were no test to him and never will be, middle team in Seria A are the best solution to test his abilities, just like Adriano at Parma.

Santos have robbed Inter and now they want Inter to deliver the stolen goods to their warehouse. Hehe, Inter management is a bunch of dumb asses….No wonder why we are in year zero from 7 years and pathetic clubs from Serie A goes to Cl and gets trashed there.

If u look at the dictionary for the word “pain in the ass”, u’ll find a section about Gabi-fail with his picture around the corner.

Now, we should have loan him to lower mid table team in Serie A so we know his true ability

bring him back, we can use all the creativity we can get, someone who can dribble and shoot or pass. hard to say but i think benfica’s attacking department is better than inter’s so he cant find his place there. at inter on the other hand, he can suprisingly be better than those head-in-the-wall un-creative candreva, perisic, eder, brozovic, J.mario and karamoh. bring him and jovetic back PLS.

use all the creativity we can get, someone who can dribble and shoot or pass — in inter, they don’t need that !

      • Interfan99

Indeed, knowing inter we rather bring back felipe melo than barbosa

      I was thinking the same

That youngster is Karamoh not Gabiflop. I was one of his defenders. But a successful player needs more than just talent. They need discipline. Balotelli is the prime example of why pure talent doesn’t work. We need to cut our losses on him, ship him to China and pray that they want him

  • La Selecta

    fuck Santos

  • Alex

Gabigol should go to China rather than Brazil. This is a punishment for him for floppin in Benfica and also his high salary can be paid fully by the Chinese and we can get some money for his loan on top of it.

    • nozanneti

from a financial point of view china is fine.
good idea, but do they want him ???

      • Alex

He can dribble and score against shitty defenders. He has proven that in Brazil. I think the Chinese will love him.
