SuperDeportes report both Valencia and agent Jorge Mendes are putting increasing pressure on Inter to allow full back Joao Cancelo to allow him to cut his loan spell in Milan short and return to Valencia six months earlier than planned.

Inter have knocked back the Spanish club’s request back more than once but Valencia are willing to wait until nearer the end of the transfer window in the hope they can convince Inter to change their minds on the Portuguese international. For the time being, Valencia will look at other possibilities for the right back role but will not rule out Cancelo still.

Cancelo suffered an injury soon after arriving at Inter which meant he was playing catch up for most of the season and then he was tasked with trying to dislodge Danilo D’Ambrosio who has asserted himself as the undisputed starting right back in Luciano Spalletti’s side. With D’Ambrosio’s recent injury Cancelo has been able to take advantage and has played in the past five games in all competitions.

I hope sabatini or ausilio got a balls to make it like this, we give them cancelo back and they must redeem kondogbia and paid fully transfer fee of murillo both in january, either than that they have the right to stfu.

Inter cant make any business with this stupid club. They want kdog, they give cancelo. Now they want cancelo but doesnt want give kdog back. Otherwise I dont want kdog at inter anymore. Stupid player just for stupid club.

cant see dead poor inter pay 35m on cancelo in june, unless we get the combined fee for kondogbia and murillo to cover it up and break even. cancelo on his behalf is trying to escape from this drowning ship.

if valencia redeem kondogbia we can keep cancelo, that was the plan, you forgot.

      • Eshay Hazan

not necessaeily. kdog costs 25m, cancelo 35m. one team can choose to activate their option and the other one dont. we need them to pay for murillo as well to afford cancelo.

Danilo D’Ambrosio who has asserted himself as the undisputed starting right back in Luciano Spalletti’s side.
————– people prize dumbrozio, but to me,
he will always be just a hardly average player prone to making stupid mistakes.

With Cancelo’s form and no clear winner at LB, I see Cancelo starting as RB and D’Ambrosio potentially moving to LB once he recovers from injury. We need to hold onto Cancelo as long as we can.

    • Muttaqien

The last time he played as LB, he was shit. I don’t want to see it anymore.

      • John

That’s cuz he hasn’t played LB much lately. With Torino however, he was mainly deployed at LB. And even when he came to Inter, he was actually one of the players destined to replace Nagatomo at LB, just like Dalbert is this season.

        • Muttaqien

Forget what he did in Torino. He was good back then, after that he is SHIT. Yes, he plays better now. But still he’s not a great player. Decent maybe. Give credit where credit is due, but do not worship him.

          • John

I don’t worship D’Ambrosio at all. However he’s still one of the better fullbacks we have, because we keep on investing in mediocre players instead of landing on world-class.

          • Muttaqien

I agree with you. Apologise for the misunderstanding.

    • Eshay Hazan

even naga is better than dambrosio on the left, and that is not something to take for granted. danilo should compete on the right and be a reserve for cancelo while santon and dalbert fight on the left side (altough with heavy slow perisic by your side even roberto carlos would struggle)

it is not “valencia pressing”, it is cancelo pressing through valencia, otherwise he would stop it !
must be he doesn’t see bright future in club inter.
