Inter are looking to bolster their midfield options and Rafinha is on the players they have in mind for this. At the moment Inter are having to act cautiously in the market and are looking to make a deal based on a loan until the end of the season with the right to buy in the summer.
Tuttosport that the negotiations are starting to become more drawn out and complicated because of what Barcelona are asking for. Inter have made an offer to take the player on loan and set a price of €20 million as the right to buy fee. This where the two clubs lock horns. Barcelona are dismissing the offer and requesting that the fee should be in the region of €40 million or more. The players’ agent and Father, Mazinho, has now stepped in and is trying to convince Barcelona to agree to the terms that Inter are setting. He has also reportedly told the Catalan club that Rafinha only wants Inter and a deal with another club will not be made. This is in the hope that it softens relationships between the two clubs and finally bring this deal to a conclusion.
With Rafinha only recently back from a lengthy nine month injury lay off, Inter are reluctant to up their bid due to concerns over the players’ fitness. It takes time to recover a player that has been out for such a long period of time. As things stand Suning are prepared to stand firm on their offer. Loan until the end of the season and €20 million without the obligation to buy plus bonuses. Take it or leave it.
