Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio was questioned by Sky Sports on how negotiations are going for midfielders Rafinha and Ramires.

“Are we confident about signing Rafinha? We are always confident when we work, but we must have time to do it.” Ausilio said on the 24-year-old Brazilian. “As for Ramires, he is a player of Jiangsu Suning, and they will decide what to do with him,” he said.

The duo have been heavily linked with Inter since the start of the mercato with Inter reportedly wanting to sign each player on a loan basis. Other reports have suggested that Inter’s move for Ramires is off due to the Chinese Club wishing to keep a hold of the 30-year-old and it could be construed from Ausilio’s words that negotiations are difficult and it is all down to them given Ramires has already publicly given his blessing to a move to the San Siro.
