Valencia have been active during this winters transfer market. They have already acquired Luciano Vietto from Atletico Madrid and Francis Coquelin from Arsenal. The management at Valencia have plans to bring back Inter’s right back, Joao Cancelo, who came to Milan on loan over the summer from Valencia.  Manager, Marcelino and Valencia are understanding of Inter’s defensive situation and are willing to give the Nerazzurri time to find a replacement in the meantime.

SuperDeporte reports that Joao Cancelo’s agent, Jorge Mendes is staying in contact with Inter over this situation and insisting that Cancelo should be sent back to Spain. Inter are willing to let Cancelo return to Valencia, but in turn seek financial compensation since he is on loan until June 30th. As of now, Valencia are not willing to give Inter the compensation they want and may be looking elsewhere.

Since joining Inter, Joao Cancelo has struggled to find time in the starting lineup due to persistent injuries. He has made his way into the lineup after injuries to Danilo D’ambrosio.
