Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio’s trip to Barcelona continues. Ausilio is in Barcelona in order to finalise the deal for Brazilian midfielder Rafinha, who is eager to join Inter to get his career back on track after a long injury period. According to Sport, a Catalan sports newspaper, the Inter sporting director is expected to be in the Barcelona premises today. Inter have already reached an agreement with player’s father (who is also his agent), Mazinho, and must now find a solution with the Catalan club who want €25 million at the end of the season to part with their Cantera product. However, Rafinha is not the only player transfer on the Ausilio’s agenda. Reports suggest that the Italian director will also talk to Barcelona about Spanish winger Gerard Deulofeu who is also looking to leave the club due to a lack of playtime even after Ousmane Dembele’s injury. According to Sky Sport the Spanish player is currently contracted to Barcelona until 2o19, and is close to agreeing a deal with Napoli.
