Inter have made a loan offer for striker Daniel Sturridge according to reports in the British media.

The Liverpool Echo report that Liverpool are not entirely interested in loaning the 28-year-old out this window if at all however. Instead they would rather get rid of the England international on a permanent basis at the cost of £30 million – approximately €34 million – a fee Inter have told their Liverpool counterparts is not possible to be met.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is more than happy to retain Sturridge for the remainder of the season though but if the right offer did arrive, he would not hold the former Chelsea player – who has ambitions of making England’s World Cup squad – against his will.
