In today’s edition of O Jogo, a special focus is placed on Inter midfielder Joao Mario. The newspaper underlines that the Portuguese player is set to leave Inter during this transfer window and suggests that Valencia could be considering him as a target. This is especially the case if Inter loanee, Geoffrey Kondogbia, should leave Valencia for China and Guangzhou Evergrande, who are reportedly very interested in bringing the French midfielder to China. In reality this is a very complicated deal to complete during this transfer window given the contractual situation of the French player, who is on loan from Inter until June. To sell him, Valencia first have to activate the buyout clause of  €25 million, and only after that can enter negotiations to sell Kondogbia to Guangzhou Evergrande. The deal is not likely to happen due to the costs involved and the short time available, therefore the deal could be delayed until the summer.
