So far, a return for Inter’s Brazilian central defender Joao Miranda to his native land is considered very unlikely. The player himself reassures all Inter fans of this in an exclusive interview with Brazilian newspaper Esporte Interativo.
The former Atletico Madrid defender states that “San Paolo is one of the clubs that I have played at and for which I feel more affection. But remember that I am a professional, if one day I would return to Brazil, something I do not see happen, I could end up playing in another team, although my priority will always be San Paolo.”
These words mean that the former Atletico Madrid player confirms his desire and will to remain with Inter, therefore denying the rumours that have linked him with a transfer to Palmeiras saying: “I think it would be difficult, I have a contract with Inter that I want to respect. This means that I can not talk to any other clubs.”
