Chivu: “Sunday’s Match Is Equally As Important For Both Inter & Roma”

Inter legend Cristian Chivu previewed Sunday night’s fixture between Inter and Roma in an interview with TuttoMercatoWeb Radio.

“Which team is better? It is hard to say, the break came at the right time for both and the latest results say that is an important match for both clubs.”

Chivu, who played for the Giallorossi also, then spoke on the two coaches at the helm of each side.

“Eusebio Di Francesco amazes me with his tranquility but it will take time before he reaches important results.

“Are Luciano Spalletti and José Mourinho comparable? They both have the desire to win, the attention to detail, the management of the locker room. Mourinho had a big team, which Spalletti does not have.”

The former Romanian international defender will be honoured prior to kick off at the San Siro where he, alongside Walter Samuel, will be inducted in to the Inter Forever family.
