Paris St. Germain are on the lookout to replace 35-year-old Thiago Motta and have identified Lassana Diarra as a possible replacement for the former Nerazzurri midfielder Le Parisien report.

Le Parisien also report however that the French powerhouses are not along in taking an interest in the former Chelsea and Real Madrid man who has been a free agent for about a month since leaving Al Jazira in the United Arab Emirates.

Inter are interested in the 32-year-old but it is unlikely that it will go much further due to the former French international’s personal ambitions of playing in and trying to win the Champions League before he calls time on his career.

Inter and PSG also face competition from Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United. Diarra has worked under Mourinho at both Chelsea and Real Madrid but despite the interest from the Premier League side, he still prefers a move to PSG.
