Interest in Daniel Sturridge is becoming more appealing for the Nerazzurri. He was reportedly offered to Inter by Liverpool a few days ago and now management is seriously considering bringing him to Milan, as long as there is the option to do a loan with a redemption option.

Gazzetta dello Sport claims that “the Nerazzurri are considering him, regardless of Rafinha and his role in the team, but there is more interest than just from Inter and it is bound to increase as rumours spread. Inter are mainly considering him due to the possibility that Eder leaves.”

The Italian-Brazilian, who arrived from Sampdoria two seasons ago, seems to be becoming unhappy with his role as Mauro Icardi’s first reserve and may seek more playing time elsewhere.

Inter must also consider the development cycle of Andrea Pinamonti in this as well.

“The prestigious academy product, born in 1999, is currently being followed by seven Italian clubs, two Spanish and one English club for a loan. This is a situation that must be dealt with, with absolute care for the players sake but also to keep the lurking Juventus away, who would never let such a promising Italian talent go to waste” – as the historic pink newspaper makes apparent. The idea of losing Pinamonti to the Bianconeri is unfathomable to many but not impossible.

With the possible exit of Eder, Pinamonti would take his position as first reserve to Icardi, while also remaining at the disposal of Stefano Vecchi for the Primavera.
