Geoffrey Kondogbia has rejected an offer from Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande according to reports coming out of Spain.

SuperDeporte report that the midfielder, who is currently on loan with Valencia from Inter, “definitively rejected” their proposal and will see out his loan with the Spaniards, who are likely to activate their option to redeem the Frenchman for €25 million in the summer.

The Chinese Super League side had offered €45 million to Valencia but €30 million of that fee would have went straight to Inter due to the fact they would have had to firstly redeem him and then give Inter their share of the transfer as per the transfer agreement that entitles the Nerazzurri to a % of any future sale.

Kondogbia has managed to re-discover the form that lead to Inter forking out around €40 million for him a few years ago gaining many plaudits for his performances in the 18 games he has played for the Mestalla Stadium outfit so far this season.
