Noted Italian journalist Carlo Laudisa wrote in his column in Gazzetta dello Sport regarding the differences at Inter since Suning have taken over, highlighting the efficiency brough in by the Chinese owners.

Laudisa explains that despite the impositions put on Suning via UEFA’s FFP rules and the Chinese goverment “there are reasons to be optimistic about Inter. Spalletti has brought in the spirit and resilience which was missing for a long time. The cumulative work of Walter Sabatini and Piero Ausilio allows the Zhang family to be more flexible and they can take managerial decisions easily. The Chinese company has also brought in stability around the club. Initially there were trust issues among everyone around the club but as the days passed away the relation between Inter and Zhang family has grown stronger. Though it didn’t pay well but their first two gifts to rebuild Inter: Joao Mario and Gabigol helped a lot to settle the things down at the very beginning.”

Laudisa who has been covering Inter for the Milano-based newspaper for a long time continued his analysis by highlighting how well the club is run today with “Steven Zhang and Gardini working proficiently for the club. Everyone around the club has one dream: To see Inter returning to Champions League. The roster may seem to be a bit short at this time because of Suning’s disability to penetrate the European market at the beginning but now they can work more effectively. There is a belief that Inter will splash out the cash in the upcoming summer. Though Chinese government has imposed some rules and regulations but that will not cause problem for Inter. The club will have important days in the remainder of the transfer window. They have a few things to sort out in order to get an outcome from this season. But more important than that is Inter under the Chinese ownership has finally started to prosper.”
