After a bad loan spell at Benfica, Gabigol is ready to return not only to Inter, but all the way back to Brazil to play with his former club, Santos. Sky Sports Italia reports that the young Brazilian is being forced to find a new team.

Acoording to the report, Inter has already come to an agreement with Santos regarding a loan for the remainder of the season where Santos will pay one third of his wages. All that is left is for Inter and Benfica to agree is on a termination fee of the loan contract. The contract in place is a loan with a right of redemption for Benfica. Inter will be in talks with Benfica over the weekend and could come to a conclusion as early as Monday.

Gabriel Barbosa has only played in three games for Benfica, where he made his debut in the Champions League match against CSKA Moscow and has not scored a goal for them.
