Inter’s chances of signing Ramires are getting less and less according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Brazilian’s club Jiangsu Suning, who are owned by the Suning group like Inter are, consider the 30-year-old Champions League winning midfielder too fundamental to their project to allow him to depart including even only on a temporary basis.

With this news Inter will be forced in to abandoning a player that they have followed for some time and one that has expressed a desire to play for the Nerazzurri more than once also.

Other recent reports have suggested that Inter have already drawn up a list of potential alternatives to Ramires. Alternatives range from Lokomotiv Moscow’s Manuel Fernandes to Sporting Lisbon’s highly rated William Carvalho.

With Inter still limited by financial fair play, things remain particularly difficult but as showcased by the signings of Rafinha and Lisandro Lopez, Inter officials have shown it is not impossible to bring in quality when on a tight budget.
