After finalizing a deal that will see Gabigol return back to Brazil to reunite with the Santos, the club that sold him to Inter, Brazilian media report the financial side of the loan.

According to the report Santos will be pay a fee of €1,5 million to Inter for the loan deal. Sport Mediaset also reports that this includes the loan fee and part of Gabigols salary which totals €3 million. Inter will be contributing to the rest of Gabigol’s salary in the process.

The loan deal is set to expire in December of 2018, which will send Gabigol to Brazil for 11 months where he will be presented to the fans and press officially on Monday.

Gabigol was unable to find a spot in Benfica’s lineup this season which led to the termination of the loan agreement and eventually moving Gabigol back to his home country of Brazil.

During his two seasons in Europe, Gabigol has only managed to find the net once against Bologna, and almost had a second but was ruled offsides in his Champions League debut with Benfica.
