It is not only possible arrivals that Inter are thinking about as the transfer window nears its close. They are also understood to be working on possible departures.

At this moment Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is one name which is doing the rounds and Premier League side Everton are understood to have shown an interest in him.

Sam Allardyce, the current manager of the Goodison Park club, was asked about the rumours linking Brozovic and others to the club during his press conference ahead of Wednesday night’s clash with Leicester City.

“Marcelo Brozovic and Steven Nzonzi? There is still no concrete news. I can not exclude anyone’s possible arrival or departure at this moment because of the kind of situation we are in, it is almost impossible to do so. The window is wide open and anything can happen at any time. We have received offers for Davy Klaassen but they are not satisfactory.”
