Those sarcastic applauses for the Inter fans at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza against Bologna will cost Inter’s Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic a fine Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport report.

According to the report “the sanction, which falls within the internal regulations, is the clubs move towards the Croatian midfielder. The club did not like Marcelo’s gesture during the substitution while he would take public excuses because Inter believe in the idea that the Nerazzurri fans deserve respect.”

After this poor gesture to the Inter fans, Marcelo Brozovic must find a way to heal the bleeding relationship that has been created with the Inter fans. This is not the first time he has upset the fans as he has posted questionable posts on his social media which seemingly got under the Nerazzurri fans skins. However, since then Brozovic has offered an apology of sorts when he yesterday wished all Inter fans a Happy Valentines Day.

Brozovic has appeared in 12 games for Inter so far this season in an unconvincing fashion. He has 3 goals and 4 assists but has been a questionable choice as a starter for Inter.
