A wonder strike from Karamoh to go along with a stellar performance from the young Frenchman led to Inter’s first win in 70 days. Inter might have just come out from the lean spell in 3rd place. Who would have thought that after Chievo?

Samir Handanovic – 6.5: Cant fault him for the goal. Was proactive most of the time. Made 2 fantastic saves. Samir was the captain today and did the armband justice.

Joao Cancelo – 6.5: Joao is a different player on the right side of defence. There were a few simple mistakes to iron out that will come with playing together.

Milan Skriniar – 7: Birthday boy Skriniar was brilliant for the 100 mins or so we played today. It’s hard to find a fault with him. Does everything that is needed.

Joao Miranda – 5: Ever since coming back from injury Miranda has been on beast mode. This mistake was against the run of form he’s had. Too bad it led to a goal.

Danilo D’Ambrosio – 6: Danilo’s first half was poor. But he played much better in the 2nd half. He was instrumental on both ends of the pitch and could have even scored.

Borja Valero – 5.5: Borja looks out of gas. The quality shines through all the time and you could see he played better with Rafinha there. Needs some rest soon.

Matias Vecino – 5.5: Like his fellow midfielders he seems to be off the boil. Seems to over run the ball, misses making the simple passes. Just about okay today.

Yann Karamoh – 7: Direct running, fancy footwork, dribbles and that finish. Yes he made a lot of mistakes due to his lack of experience, but needs more playing time.

Marcelo Brozovic – 5: Brozo deserves a better rating as he got in that assist in the 2nd minute but there is no way he gets more after that kind of behaviour. Out.

Ivan Perisic – 5.5: Continued his poor form in front on goal, but if you re-watch the game he did all his defensive work in midfield very well. Played through injury.

Eder – 6.5: Not Eder’s biggest fan but he scores and runs. Cant doubt his commitment to the cause. Only complaint would be he goes down to easily.

Lisandro Lopez – 6.5: A very difficult time to make a debut at the Meazza. Showed a lot of ‘grinta’ today. Its nice to have a backup central defender. Looked rusty but got it done.

Rafinha – 6.5: Rafinha was brilliant. Only one who looked for through balls and moved the ball around. Got an assist and should have got one more.

Roberto Gagliardini – 5.5: Gagliardini looks woefully out of form. Played Palacio through under no pressure. Needs to work on the simpler side of the game. Inter need it.

Luciano Spalletti – 6: Took a chance with Karamoh and it paid off. Got his subs absolutely right and it paid off. Inter might have just got out of the rut. Earned his wage.

Paolo Valeri – 8: Absolutely fantastic use of the VAR. Modern thinking is always welcome at the Meazza when Inter is playing. Didn’t get any big decision wrong.

Inter – 7: 70 days it took to take their first win after Chievo. This could be a giant step for us if Inter continue winning. Cant fault everyone’s effort today.

Agree? Disagree? Do Inter need to change the midfielders? Does Borja deserve a rest? Should Karamoh and Rafinha start next match?
