Former Inter player Diego Laxalt was interviewed by Premium Sport ahead of the clash against his former team at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris when his current team Genoa, host the Nerazzurri tonight at 20.45 CET.

The Uruguayan internatonal began by speaking about Genoa’s season before speaking about his Nerazzurri past stating that “I hope to score many goals but the important thing is to avoid relegation. Inter are my past, what happened then was all for my own good, the present is the most important thing, also for my future.

“I always think about Genoa, I’m happy here and I have to finish this season at the most, Genoa needs me. Ballardini has brought his ideas, we believe in him and we are doing our best and the results are coming out” Laxalt continued.

In conclusion he was asked about his thoughts of the match against Inter saying: “They are a great team, we must think we can do our best until the end.”
