Despite rumours circulating that Stefan De Vrij had a verbal agreement with Lazio to extend the relationship by inserting a low clause that allows him to leave easily  €18-20 million, the club’s Sporting Director Igli Tare stated that the player will be leaving in the summer when his contract expires.

According to FcInterNews, who report that they have had this verified, the economic agreement of the possible renewal between the central defender and the Biancocelesti would have seen him earn €2.8 million plus bonuses for the coming years.

However according to the report these figures are most definitely lower than those offered by Inter, who have offered the Duthman five-year contract which would see him earn a total of €22.5 million which translates to four and a half million Euros net per season to play for the Nerazzurri bonuses excluded.

The Dutch international is very tempted to accept the offer from Inter, however Manchester United and Chelsea are hot on his trails but have to date, however, not yet made any official offer to him
