Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport is almost certain that Stefan De Vrij will become an Inter player. The Nerazzurri club – the paper reports – is ahead of the competition all thanks to their contract offer of €4.2 million plus bonuses for five years.
The only risk to this agreement collapsing is on the basis of qualifying for the Champions League, which has been a demand of the Dutchman ever since a transfer away from Lazio was first rumoured.
