Between today and tomorrow – Gazzetta dello Sport reports – Mauro Icardi will try to rejoin group training with the aim of being fit for Inter’s next game at home, against Benevento, although there is still some doubt about whether he will be able to. The main concern is the worry of aggravating his injury just before the Derby della Madonnina on the 4th of March, in which his presence will be vital.

However, Inter should have Ivan Perisic ready for Benevento, who is already starting more intense workouts. Joao Miranda is still being ruled out, with the aim to have him back against Milan as well, but his recovery is a little more complicated.

Meanwhile, Rafinha Alcantara is working very well, as his first full debut is getting closer, after Spalletti claimed that he was not yet fit enough, following his terrible injury, it would seem as if he is making great progress.

The probable line up against Benevento is as follows: Handanovic in goal, Cancelo, Ranocchia, Skriniar, D’Ambrosio in defence, Vecino and Gagliardini in front, Candreva, Rafinha and Perisic behind Eder or Icardi.
