During an interview with Belgian media outlet DHnet, Inter’s young Belgian central defender Zinho Vanheusden who is currently on loan at Standard Liege, spoke about his relationship with the Nerazzurri: “I’m still in contact with the club, the doctor, and of course, some teammates, but also the coach, Luciano Spalletti, who tells me to remain patient because he is sure that I will come back stronger [from a recent knee injury].”

Before signing for the Belgian team, the central defender born in 1999, extended his contract with the Beneamata until June 30th 2022 of which he stated that: “It is a wonderful thing to have extended my contract with Inter for five years, before going out on loan to Standard Liege.”

Zinho Vanheusden was captain of Inter Primavera before being promoted to the first team roster at the beginning of the season. Unfortunately he suffered a knee injury which kept him off the field and was loaned out.
