Rai Sport transfer market expert Ciro Venerato has revealed it is 99% likely that Kwadwo Asamoah will join Inter in the summer and that fellow Serie A side Napoli have pulled out of the race to sign him as a result.

“Napoli is no longer thinking about him because it is 99% that he will go to Inter,” Venerato explained. “I can confirm that the negotiation is practically certain as I have received direct and indirect confirmations. I must also add that with the Neapolitans there has not been any real negotiations, only an enquiry.”

The versatile Ghanaian international’s contract is set to expire with Juventus in the summer and Inter are keen to add him to their ranks on a free transfer. The 29-year-old can play at left back, left midfield and even central midfield if required and is no stranger to Serie A having made 223 appearances in Serie A between Juventus and Udinese.
